As some of you may know, the National Finals of Impromptu Public Speaking and Impromptu Debating are on next Saturday 17th. It is being hosted by Meath County Executive and we would appreciate your support.
We are hosting the competition in the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim (On the Dublin Road). Sign in: 7-7.30. From that, there will be a mixture of the two competitions. They are both GREAT competitions and I assure you - if the semi final in Meath is anything to go by => the National Final will be very good!!(",) There will be entertainment (Dean McCann) in the main bar that evening, so you can pop in and listen to that. There is a bar extention until 2am. Taxis are easy enough to get if you are not staying in the hotel.... Click on www.knightsbrook.com for more information on the hotel. For accommodation in Trim, click on http://www.trimtown.com/trim_links.htm and that should get you sorted. There is a night club in Trim and it is attached to the Castle Arch Hotel in the town itself. If you have never entered either competition, maybe come along and see how they work. It will be great craic! Tea, coffee and finger food is being served. So please, come along support this National Final, support your club or county or neighbouring region and have a night out in Trim! (",) A HAPPY Macra member makes a GOOD Macra member (",) |

Speaking Competitions are so important and to ask judges to turn up on the night we need to show them that there is interest in the competition. you know you want to............. |
