hey Just realised that its one month to the Rally!!!! Woop Woop!!
What is everyone looking forward to the most!!
For me it’s the fact that there are loads of people I've met over the last few years since ive been in Macra that arent as active as they used to be or don’t go to as many things as they used to!! So I mightnt have seen them for ages and at the Rally these is a good chance that they'll make an appearance over the weekend at some stage even if they havent been to a macra thing all year!! Plus its great to meet up with everyone I do see regular enough for a full weekend of madness!!
im with you roche havent been as active on the macra scene the last year and feel like i havent been at a macra gig in ages cos miss macra is a bit diff for me so really looking forward to catching up with everyone and making new friends too...roll on the rally!!!
p.s think that rebel gets best pr prize of the year that tigger suit at the ploughing genius!!!!!
i dunno if it was best pr of the year stuff,mary o neill's idea, i was just the clown on the spot wearing it,some laugh though walking around the ploughing with it!! had pics taken with ryan tubridy,the garda commisioner,nuala carey, alan dukes & I don't know which of the next 2 is bigger but Gerry ryan & AONGUS MCINALLY!!!!!aongus is a nutcase!!! yes 3weeks & a bit to the rally!!thankfully
I'm flying down to the Cork from dublin and its only costing me 40 euro return!! For nothing jetsetting round the place attending macra functions is the only way to roll!!
Have to compromise on the bags though because I'm not forking out money for an additional bag!! So what are the essentials that I have to bring with me and that'll fit in my carryon bag!!!
Usually for any macra event I would alway keep a few tins of a certain dutch beverage in the bag but wont be able to do that so ill be relying on the offlicences of Cork!! Do ya's sell Buckfast down there???
buckfast is on sale down here. a bag? you didn't even have one at miss macra!! as you well know rochey discount stores are the way to go,bring the bare essentials & we'll sort u out along the way

ooh flying...are ye on the same flight??im thinking of getting the train...if i get the train and ye get the plane will we all be able to get the bus to the rally, that still going ahead rebel??that how ye are planning on getting from cork city??in fairness that would be some crack...party bus!!!buckfasts all round!!!
yeah were on the same flight!! The plan is to get as far as cork city first and then worry about getting the rest of the way after that!! D buckfast bus would be a bit of crazy outing I reckon I usually save the buckfast for the saturday or sunday morning if I miss the breakfast!! But I could make an exception this time round Make a quick pit stop in the offlicence on the way!!
